Dubbed “The Great One” for being hockey’s all-time best player, Wayne Gretzky is the leading point scorer in NHL history and has more assists than any other player has points. Gretzky is the only player NHL player to total over 200 points in a season—and he did it four times. When he retired in 1999, the Hockey Hall of Fame waived its waiting period and he was inducted immediately. Inside the front collar is a “MASKA” manufacturer’s tag with “100% POLYESTER” and washing instructions on it. The number “54” is written on it in pen. Outside on the rear tail is the “CCM” and official “NHL” logo embroidered. Inside the rear tail is a “99” tag. On the front left chest is a captain’s “C” in silver on black tackle twill. On the front reads “LOS ANGELES KINGS” embroidered in black stitching on silver tackle twill that’s outlined in silver and black stitching. Gretzky signed on the silver tackle twill in black marker rating an 8. Across the back reads “GRETZKY”. Below is player number “99”. Both are done in the same silver on black tackle twill. Player number “99” appears on both sleeves in silver on white tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged and was presented to us as team-issued. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA, an LOA from Darryl Strawberry which states that this was personally gifted to him from Wayne Gretzky in the locker room after a game, and an LOA from Casey Samuelson.
