Charles “Bud” Wilkinson was head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners football team from 1947-63. His teams posted a 145-29-4 record over that span and he was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1969. This certificate measures 19” x 23” and was presented to “Charles B. Wilkinson of Oklahoma” when he was appointed “Special Consultant to the President of the United States of America on Youth Fitness” on January 21, 1969. The certificate has been signed by President Richard Nixon in black ink and in our opinion rates a 7 overall. The certificate is also signed by Secretary of State William P.
