Jim Morrison of The Doors is one of greatest American singer-songwriter of all-time. He disappointingly died at the age of 27, leaving too much talent behind. 26” x 38” framed display of a color photograph by the famous Henry Diltz and a handwritten poem by Morrison. The photo is of the band at the Hard Rock Cafe in 1969. The Morrison poem is on a torn piece of looseleaf paper. The poem, entitled “Probe The Highlands”, reads, “Actors must make us think - Or do they - They’re real - Our friends must not - Make us think we’re acting - Or do they - They are though in slow time - My wild words - Slip into fusion - While I quietly dream - Caught like angels - On the dark porch - Of a dangerous Highland - I risk losing - The solid ground - So stranger, get - wilder still - Probe the Highlands”. Accompanied by a Full LOA from JSA and additional LOAs.
