On 10/8/1956, Don Larsen pitched the sixth perfect game in MLB history on the biggest stage—Game 5 of the World Series. It is currently the only no-hitter or perfect game in World Series history and is one of only two no hitters in MLB postseason history. On the cover of the program reads “THE PERFECT GAME 10/8/56—LARSEN” in blue pen. The scorecard inside the program is filled out in two different pens. Accompanied with a commemorative plate that reads “The Perfect Game - WORLD SERIES 5TH GAME OCTOBER 8TH 1956 - Perfection - Start to Finish”. Below “Start to Finish” is a box score of the game and above is an illustration of Larsen pitching. Comes with a “SPALDING” manufactured catcher’s glove. Inside the glove, “SPALDING MADE IN U.S.A. 1443”, “E-Z Flex” and “Larry Yogi Berra” are stamped. Inside on the thumb area is signed by Berra in black pen and in our opinion, rates a 7. Accompanied by an LOAs from JSA and Steiner Sports.
