Manuf: H&B Signature Model. Model Number: C263. Length: 34”. Weight: 33 oz. Wood: Ash. Labeling Period: 1984–86. Condition: Cracked at the handle, repaired with glue. The player number “6” is written on both the knob and the barrel end in black marker. Garvey has signed the upper front barrel along with the added inscriptions, “Best Wishes” and “#6”. The signature is done in blue marker and in our opinion rates an 8. Ball/hit marks are present on the right, left and back barrel. Black ball transfer marks are present on the right, back and front barrel. Green bat rack marks are present on the back, front and left barrel. Cleat marks are present on the left and right barrel as well as a donut ring. A heavy coat of pine tar and scoring marks are present on the handle. The bat exhibits evidence of heavy use. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA grading the bat a 9. Further accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature.
