On the inside of the left tail is a “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag. Attached are two flag tags that read “48” and “SET E 2005”. On the left inseam is a “100% POLYESTER” tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads “METS”. Player number “45” appears on both the front and on the back. Across the back reads player name “MARTINEZ”. All numbering and lettering are done in the same blue on white on orange triple tackle twill. On the rear collar is an official “MLB” logo embroidered. Martinez signed in between the back player number and player name in white pen with the added inscription, “C.Y. 98-99-00” and in our opinion, rates a 6. On the left sleeve is a “Mets” logo disc patch and a “Majestic” logo embroidered. This jersey was likely to be worn on the bench, as Martinez was known to add extra spandex in the armhole opening on days he pitched. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and an additional LOA that says the jersey is sourced through the Mets support staff.
