Rickey Henderson was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2009 on the first ballot. On the front left tail is a “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a faded flag tag with nothing on it. Across the chest reads “PADRES”. Player number “24” appears on the back. These are both done in the same navy blue on white on orange triple tackle twill. Across the back reads player name “HENDERSON” in navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the white pinstripe jersey. On the left sleeve is a “SAN DIEGO PADRES Baseball Club” disc patch and on the right sleeve is a “Russell Athletic” logo embroidered. Team crest shows a tremendous about of puckering. The level of use on this jersey may not be attributed to Henderson. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
