Stan Musial was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969 on the first ballot. The three-time World Series Champion was a 24-time All-Star, three-time NL MVP and seven-time NL batting champion. In 1957 he won his last NL batting title and finished for second in the NL MVP voting, hitting .351. On the front left tail is a “Rawlings Hall of Fame FLANNEL” manufacturer’s tag. Attached adjacent are two strip tags, one is blank and one reads “44”. Below reads “Musial 57” in red chain-stitching. Across the front reads “Cardinals” in red chain-stitching. Above, the “Cardinals” logo of two birds sitting on a bat is done in yellow and red chain-stitching. On the back is player number “6” in red felt on navy blue felt sewn directly onto the flannel jersey. Musial signed inside the rear collar in blue pen and in our opinion, rates a 7. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use yet retains it’s magnificent appearance.
