Rod Carew was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991 on the first ballot. He was a seven-time AL batting champion and won the 1977 AL MVP. On the front left tail is a “W.A. Goodman & Sons” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Across the front reads “Angels”. Player number “29” appears on both the front and on the back. Across the back reads player name “CAREW”. All numbering and lettering are done in the same red on navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. On the right sleeve is an “Angels 1961-1985 25th” anniversary disc patch. On the left sleeve is a patch with the state of California with a halo around the top. Carew signed inside the back player number “2” in black pen with the added inscription “HOF 91” and in our opinion, rates an 8. Batting helmet manufactured by “AMERICAN BASEBALL CAP”. Inner padding is intact. On the back is an “ABC” logo sticker and a number “29” decal over it. On the front is an “A” logo decal. On the top of the bill reads “CAREW” on a piece a strip tape. Carew signed the top of the bill in black pen and in our opinion, rates a 7. These items are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and an additional LOA.
