First-ballot Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski was elected to 18 All-Star games and was the 1967 AL MVP, when he won the Triple Crown. The seven-time Gold Glove Award winner has his No. 8 retired by the Boston Red Sox. Inside the rear collar is a “McAULIFFE” manufacturer’s tag. Attached below is a size “42” tag. On the center front tail is a “1975” year tag with a tag with washing instructions attached below. Across the front reads “BOSTON”. On the back is player number “8”. Both are done in the same red on navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. Yastrzemski signed the jersey below “BOSTON” in blue marker, with the added inscription “1975 AL Champions TC 1967 HOF 1989” and in our opinion, rates an 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and an additional LOA grading the shirt an A10.
