Inside the front tail is a “1973” tag with a tag with washing instructions attached. Inside the rear collar is a “McAULIFFE” manufacturer’s tag. Below is a size “38” tag. Across the front reads “RED SOX”. On the back is player number “11”. Both are done in the same red on navy blue tackle twill. Aparicio signed the front of the jersey in blue marker with the added inscription, “To Joe” and in our opinion, rates a 6. Player name and number on the left front tail was added by a collector for displayability. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
