The 1975 NBA All-Star Game was played on January 14th in Phoenix. “Tiny” Archibald scored an incredible 27 points, had 2 rebounds and six assists, just missing out on the game’s MVP Award. Archibald is a member of the Top 50 NBA Players of all time and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1991. On the left front tail is the “Spanjian” manufacturer’s tag with jersey size “42”. Written in black ink is “ARCH #1”. Attached are two flag tags, one with size “XXL” and another with wash instructions. Across the front is “WEST” done in purple felt applique with an orange felt applique embroidered border. Player number “1” appears on both the front and back. Player name “ARCHIBALD” appears across the back in block letters. All these numbers and letters are done in felt applique. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. We were told by our consignor that he received this jersey directly from Archibald following the 1975 All-Star Game in Arizona and it is accompanied by his LOA.
