The Houston Mavericks were a charter member of the American Basketball Association. They played in the upstart league's first two seasons, from 1967 to 1969. On the inner front button path is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “46”. Across the front is “HOUSTON” done in white on black tackle twill. The snap-on nameplate on back has been removed. The warm-up jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as worn and in our opinion shows wear. Other than what is mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
