“Wilson” manufactured football presented to New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora after his three tackle, two sack performance against the New Orleans Saints on Monday, September 19, 2005. The game was originally supposed to have taken place in New Orleans but the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina forced the game to be relocated to Giants Stadium. One panel of the ball has been painted white. The ball reads, “DEFENSIVE GAME BALL PRESENTED TO OSI UMENYIORA — NEW YORK GIANTS 27 - NEW ORLEANS SAINTS 10 — MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2005 — GIANTS STADIUM” along with two “NY” Giants logos. All of the lettering is done in red and blue die-cut decals. “85” has been written on one tip of the football and there is a small mark through the “o” in the Wilson logo, both done in black marker. The ball is in NRMT condition, holds air.
