Gene Conley is best known as being the only person to win championships in two of the four major American sports. Conley was a pitcher on the World Champion 1957 Milwaukee Braves before winning three NBA Championships in his time with the Celtics. This watch was presented to Gene Conley after the Boston Celtics defeated the Atlanta Hawks in the 1960 NBA Finals. The watch weighs 27 grams and is made of 10k rolled gold palladium. The face of the watch reads “CELTICS CHAMPS” around the perimeter. No manufacturers logos are present. The verso of the watch is stamped “10K.R.G.P.” The watch is in EX condition and is accompanied by a copy of a LOA from Gene Conley.
