At age 39, “Pistol” Pete Maravich was the second youngest player ever inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame behind Ed Macauley who was 32 at the time of his induction in 1960. Upon his induction, he was cited by the Hall as "perhaps the greatest creative offensive talent in history". Inside the rear waistband is the “Russell” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “M”. Adjacent is a white label with “MARAVICH” written in equipment manager Joe O’Toole’s handwriting. The shorts are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, show appropriate use. Accompanied by a team LOA signed by Joe O’Toole.
