A three-time NBA MVP and one of the NBA's 50 greatest players, Malone was the most successful prep-to-pro player of his era, going straight from Petersburg High to a 21-year career in professional basketball. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2001. On the left front tail is the “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “48”. Adjacent is the “1992-93 Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Milwaukee Bucks Body Length +3” tag. Across the front is “BUCKS”. Player number “8” appears on both the front and back. All these numbers and letters are painted on in dark green with a light green border. Player name “MALONE” appears on back painted on in dark green block letters. Malone has signed the front with a large signature in black marker rating a 6. On the left chest is the official NBA logo embroidered in gold. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA. We were told by our consignor this was purchased directly from the Bradley Center.
