Rod Gilbert played right wing on the GAG (goal-a-game) line that also featured Vic Hadfield and Jean Ratelle. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1982, and was the first player in New York Rangers history to have his number retired. Inside the rear collar is the “Gerry Cosby” tag with adjacent size “46” tag. On front is the “NEW YORK RANGERS” large team embroidered crest. Player number “7” appears on back in blue tackle twill and on both sleeves in white tackle twill. Player name “GILBERT” appears across the back in blue tackle twill. Gilbert has signed the back in blue marker rating a 7-8. The fight strap is intact. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from Casey Samuelson as well as a LOA from JSA.
