8” x 10” black and white photo framed and matted to measure 14-1/2” x 16-1/2”. The photo features a 6-foot-3 Ted Williams standing in the Boston Police Department’s lineup room on September 23, 1958. The photo was originally taken as a joke and later circulated nationally. The matting below the photo has been signed by the Boston Police Commissioner and inscribed, “With Best Wishes, from All your Friends on the Boston Police Department.” The unique photo is in NRMT condition.
