Michael Jack Schmidt won the NL MVP Award in 1986 with 37 HR, 117 RBI, batting .290 with an OPS of .937. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1995. Manuf: H&B, Model: B267, Length: 32-7/8, Weight: 31.4 oz, Wood: Ash, Condition: Cracked at the handle. Many ball marks are visible on the left and back barrel. Also visible are cleat marks on the right and left barrel with red polish. There is finish removed from the left barrel. A light coat of pine tar appears on the mid handle. Schmidt has signed the front barrel in black marker adding the inscription “Best Wishes Eddie” rating a 7 with smudging. Overall: Moderate use. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA grading the bat a GU 8 as well as a LOA from JSA.
