Keith Hernandez was the on-field General for the 1986 World Champion NY Mets. “Mex” batted .310 that magical season, winning the Gold Glove Award and being elected to the All-Star Game. On the left front tail is the “W.A. Goodman & Sons” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “42”. Across the front is “Mets”. Player number “17” appears on both the front and back. Player name “HERNANDEZ” appears across the back on a grey nameplate. All numbers and letters are done in blue on orange tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “1962-86 25th Anniversary” embroidered patch. Hernandez has signed the front in black marker adding the inscription “86 WS Champs” rating a 7. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
