Inducted into the HOF in 1989, Johnny Bench was one of the fiercest competitors in the history of the game. On the inner sweatband is the “New Era” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is the “OFFICIAL LICENSE MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL” tag and the “7 5/8” size tag. Player number “5” is written black marker under the brim. Cincinnati team “C” is embroidered in white onto the front. The cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use with dirt and sweat staining.
