Pete Rose, a switch hitter, is the all-time Major League leader in hits (4,256), games played (3,562) and at-bats (14,053). He won three World Series rings, three batting titles, one Most Valuable Player Award, two Gold Gloves, the Rookie of the Year Award, and made 17 All-Star appearances at an unequaled five different positions (2B, LF, RF, 3B & 1B). Inside the right front tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “42”. Below is a wash instructions label with attached flag tag “SET 1 #8P 1971”. At the left chest is the “C REDS” logo embroidered in white chain stitch on red tackle twill. Player number “14” appears on both the front and back. Player name “ROSE” appears across the back. All these numbers and letters are done in red tackle twill. Rose has signed the back number in black marker rating an 8. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA. Magnificent and all original.
