Wade Boggs spent his 18-year baseball career primarily with the Boston Red Sox. His hitting in the 1980s and 1990s made him a perennial contender for American League batting titles. Boggs is a member of the 3,000 hit club, was elected to the Red Sox Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “42”. Below is a white strip tag with “82”. Across the front is “RED SOX”. Player number “26” appears on back. All numbers and letters are done in red on navy tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use.
