Rickey Henderson was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2009. This shirt was worn early in the 2002 season as there is no evidence of the “9” for Ted Williams. On the left front tail is the “Russell” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions. Attached is a flag tag with “100% Polyester 44”. Beneath is the “2002” label. Across the front is “BOSTON”. Player number “35” appears on back. Player name “HENDERSON” appears across the back. All numbers and letters are done in red on navy blue tackle twill. At the rear collar is the official MLB embroidered logo patch. On the left sleeve is the Russell embroidered “R” logo. The jerseys front tail was custom ordered short from the factory. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
