Dan Issel played ten minutes during the 1977 NBA All-Star Game as the West defeated the East 125-124. Issel was a six time All-Star, an All-Star Game MVP and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1993. This was his only NBA All-Star Game. On the left front tail is the “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “46”. Above is the “Sand-Knit Milwaukee Sporting Goods” distributors tag. Adjacent is a white strip tag with “4”LB”. Across the front is “WEST” surrounded by four stars. Player number “44” appears on both the front and back. All these numbers and letters are painted on in red with green borders. Player name “ISSEL” appears on back in painted on red block letters. Issel has signed the back in black marker rating a 6. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
