Connie Hawkins was THE legend at Rucker Park, an outdoor court in Harlem where he battled against some of the best players in the world. Connie was named to the ABA's All-Time Team and played in the NBA for seven seasons. He was an All-Star from 1970–1973. He played two seasons with the Lakers, 1973-74 and 1974-75. Hawkins's performances in the ABL, ABA and NBA helped get him inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1992. On the center front tail is the “Tiernan” manufacturer’s tag. Across the front is “LAKERS” in yellow on white tackle twill. Player number “42” appears on both the front and back in white on yellow tackle twill. Player name “HAWKINS” appears across the back in yellow on white tackle twill. The jersey shows extensive laundering. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows outstanding use.
