This wooden award measures 15” x 18”, golden plaque atop engraved “PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL WRITERS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA 1979 WALTER KENNEDY CITIZENSHIP AWARD TO CALVIN MURPHY HOUSTON ROCKES FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY. Mounted below the plaque is a black and white photo of Murphy kneeling facing the court. The award is in VG condition overall, and is accompanied by a Murphy LOA.
