Calvin Murphy was one of the best free-throw shooters ever retiring at #7 on the all time list, setting NBA records for most consecutive free throws made and for the highest free throw percentage in a season in 1980-1981. This award was presented to Murphy by the NBA for his league leading free throw percentage of .958 in the 1980-81 season. The wooden award measures 20” x 13” featuring; a “QUARTZ” gold clock measuring 8” x 8”, a gold three dimensional basketball hoop including net with the backboard engraved “Murphy HOUSTON ROCKETS #23 1970-83”. Below this is a golden plaque engraved “CALVIN MURPHY HOUSTON ROCKETS NBA FREE THROW PERCENTAGE CHAMPION 1980-81. The plaque is in VG condition overall, with an unknown part missing in top right corner. Accompanied by a Murphy LOA. Item will be expensive to ship due to weight and size.
