This size 11, 10k gold ring weighs 29 grams. The top panel reads “LOUISVILLE CARDINALS 1986 NCAA CHAMPIONS” surrounding a red stone with a a round-cut synthetic diamond in the center. To the left and right are two basketball hoops in relief with a small round-cut synthetic diamond above each basket. The right panel reads “WILLIAMS” in relief above the casted image of the Cardinals’ mascot dunking a basketball engraved with the number “3” and a banner that reads “32-7”, the team’s record that season. The left panel reads “LOUISVILLE-72 DUKE-69”, the final score of the 1986 NCAA Championship Game. Below that is the University of Louisville official seal in relief above “Metro CHAMPS”. The inside of the ring is stamped “LGB 10K”. We were told by our consignor that this is a player ring, possibly Keith Williams’, but the number on the right panel does not match Keith Williams’ roster number, 22. The ring is in NRMT condition.
