Jim Kelly was the third quarterback drafted in the 1983 NFL Draft, the same draft class with John Elway and Dan Marino. Employing the K-Gun offense known for its hurry up shotgun formations, Kelly leading one of the great NFL scoring juggernauts in the Buffalo Bills, Kelly led the Bills to four consecutive Super Bowls in 1990, 1991, 1992, and 1993. In 2002, in his first year of eligibility, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. On the left front tail is the “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “46”. Adjacent is a second “Champion” tag with “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Buffalo Bills 1993”. Player number “12” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves in white painted on numbers with a red border. Player name “KELLY” appears on back in heat transferred white block letters on a blue nameplate. The shirt features custom shortened sleeves with the Champion “C” logo patch. Kelly has signed the back number in black marker adding the inscription “12” rating a 7-8. At the V-neck is the official NFL shield. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature. Other than what is mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
