Len Dawson was a six-time AFL All-Star, the NFL Man of the Year, a World Champion and a Super Bowl MVP. He was enshrined in Canton in 1987. Inside the crotch piece of this red knit jersey is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “44”. Adjacent is a wash instructions label. The crotch piece is fully intact. Player number “16” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves in white tackle twill with a yellow embroidered border. There is no name on back. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as team issued and in our opinion, shows no use. Other than what is mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
