This trophy was presented to Hall of Famer Roy Campanella for being part of the Old Timers Day at Shea Stadium on July 24, 1965. This particular Old Timers Day featured a matchup between 37 former players of the New York Giants and the Brooklyn Dodgers, 16 of whom are enshrined at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. The trophy stands 7” tall and weighs just over one pound. The silver-plated cup features a Mets logo in relief with three synthetic stones and an engraving that reads “1965 DODGERS OLD TIMERS - ROY CAMPANELLA”. The bottom of the chalice is stamped “EPCA POOLE SILVER CO.” along with the serial number “837”. The trophy is in EX condition and is accompanied by a LOA from Roy’s widow, Roxie Campanella.
