Collection of several dozen career milestone game-used baseballs from the family of Jim Turner, each inscribed with a different career milestone or game stats. ONL baseballs shellacked to preserve the inscriptions, majority dated from 1937-39 including “First Victory in the National League April 30, 1937 vs. Phils” and several rare “Boston Bees” game balls inscribed with the date of the victory and score. The balls are toned and show signs of game-use, accompanied by a photo that hung in Turner’s home picturing him with Bees teammate Lou Fette. Further accompanied by the actual wall display in the photo, taken right off the way in the Turner home used to display these baseballs. Due to size and weight, this lot will require additional shipping charges.
