In the bottom of the sixth inning during Game 3 of the 2009 ALCS, Vladimir Guerrero hit a game-tying two-run home run off Yankees starting pitcher Andy Pettitte. Manuf: LVS, Model: C243, Length: 34 in, Weight: 32.8 oz, Wood: Maple, Condition: Crack at the lower handle Many prominent ball marks and deep ball stitch impressions are visible on all sides of the barrel. Cleat marks are visible on the left barrel. A heavy coat of pine tar appears on the handle to the M9 logo. Also visible is the impression from a weighted batting sleeve. The black mark visible on the handle identifies the face grain of the bat. This is a mandatory marking per MLB for all maple bats since 1/2009. The date of manufacture “10/16/2009”, length “34” and weight “32oz” are stamped into the knob end. Vlad has signed the front barrel in silver marker adding the inscription “27” rating an 8. Overall: Outstanding use. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA as well as a LOA from JSA for the signature.The bat is photomatched to October 19, 2009 during a Vlad at bat in the ALCS. The bat is photomatched to October 19, 2009 during Vlad's HR at bat in the ALCS. This bat is further accompanied by an additional LOA grading an A9.5 and attesting to the photomatch, which is incorrectly dated.
