Michael Jack Schmidt was a twelve time All-Star, ten time Gold Glove Award winner, eight time HR champion, World Series Champion and won the NL MVP three times including 1986. During the ‘86 campaign, Schmidt hit 37 home runs, drove in 119 RBI’s while winning the Gold Glove Award at third base. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1995. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and attached size “44” flag tag. Below is a strip tag with “86 1” embroidered in navy chain stitch. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag with “Schmidt” embroidered in navy chain stitch. On the left chest is the team “P” logo. Player number “20” appears on both the front and back. Player name “SCHMIDT” appears on back on a powder blue nameplate. All numbers and letters are done in burgundy on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the team disc patch. The front is a full zipper. Schmidt has signed the front in black marker adding the inscription “548” for his career HR total rating a 7-8. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows light use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature.
