On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “44”. Directly below is a strip tag with “72 Set 1”. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag with player name “Champion” done in navy blue chain stitch. On the left breast is the Phillies “P” logo embroidered in burgundy chenille on white tackle twill. Player number “31” appears on both the front and back in the same burgundy chenille on white tackle twill. The second button from the top is missing on front. This shirt was recycled for minor league use with black marker on strip tag in the rear collar. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows outstanding use. Other than the missing button, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
