In 1910, George Napoleon “Nap” Rucker led the NL in complete games with 27, innings pitched (320.1), and shutouts (6). Only to improve the following season winning 22 games for the Dodgers. Rucker holds many the Brooklyn Dodgers records. Blue Brooklyn Dodgers cap with white “B” felt on the front. Cap shows its century age with small holes and wear throughout. Also featured in this lot is an original black and white photo of the 1916 Brooklyn Dodgers National League champs framed in black to measure 19” x 14” with the visible portion of the measuring 13” x 7 ½”. Photo shows signs of two vertical creases from top to bottom, and one small diagonal crease in the bottom right corner. According to our consignor, both items are sourced directly from the Rucker family and the photo hung on his own wall.
