Nolan Ryan was an eight-time MLB All-Star and his 5,714 career strikeouts rank first in baseball history by a significant margin. Ryan is currently the only major league baseball player to have his number retired by at least 3 different teams: the Angels, Astros, and Rangers. He is the all-time leader in no-hitters with seven, three more than any other pitcher and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1999. Inside the rear collar is the “W.A. Goodman & Sons” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “44” with hand written player specifications of "1 1/2 LB". Across the front is “Rangers”. Player number “34” appears on both the front and back. All these numbers and letters are done in blue on red tackle twill. Player name “RYAN” appears on back in blue tackle twill. Inside the waistband of the pants is the same “W.A. Goodman & Sons” tag with wash instructions and size “34”. Adjacent is a strip tag with “RYAN 34-25 ’90 SET 1”. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use.
