NL starting pitcher Brad Penny set the tone early, striking out Ichiro, Jeter, and Ortiz to start the game. His fastball had uncharacteristic speed, never going below 96 mph, and – aside from a lone curveball – was the only pitch he threw in the first inning. The AL would get to Penny in the second as Vladimir Guerrero hit an opposite-field solo home run that just cleared the right field fence, giving the AL a 1–0 lead. This would be the only homer for the AL this game en route to their 3 - 2 victory. On the left front tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag. Attached are two flag tags, “2005” and “50”. The shirt was manufactured in 2005 and carried over to wear in 2006, possibly worn in 2005 as well. Across the front is “ANGELS” done in red on black on white tackle twill. Player number “27” appears on both the front and back. Player name “GUERRERO” appears on back. All these numbers and letters are done in red on navy tackle twill. Inside the left seam are two tags, a wash instructions tag and a size “50” flag tag. On the left sleeve is the Majestic embroidered “M” logo. at the back of the neck is the official MLB embroidered logo patch. On the right sleeve is the “2006 MLB All-Star Game” patch. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. This jersey is further accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA attesting to the photomatch.

Please note that a correction and/or update has been made to this lot and the printed catalog differs from what is online.
