Catfish Hunter became the highest paid pitcher in baseball when he signed with the Yankees in 1975. During a 15-year baseball career, he won five World Championships and Cy Young Award. He was inducted into Cooperstown in 1987. On the inner sweatband is the “KM PRO” manufacturer’s tag with adjacent “7-3/8 KM PRO” stamp. Player number “29” is written under the bill in black marker. The cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use with sweat staining and rosin under the bill.
