John Elway is the only player in NFL history to pass for more than 3,000 yards and rush for more than 200 yards in the same season seven consecutive times. He was only the second quarterback in NFL history to record more than 40,000 yards passing and 3,000 yards rushing during his career. He ranks second all-time in three of the game’s most significant passing categories: passing yards, attempts, and completions. Hall of Fame, Class of 2004. On the left front tail of this orange mesh home jersey is the “Russell” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “46”. Attached is a flag tag with “100% Nylon”. On the front, back and on both sleeves is player number “7” done in painted on white numbers with a blue border. On back is player name “ELWAY” done in painted on white block letters on an orange nameplate. The jersey shows heavy quarterback use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
