This size 9.5, 10k gold ring weighs 43 grams. The top panel of the ring reads “BASEBALL HALL OF FAME” surrounding a baseball sitting atop a black stone. The right panel features an engraved banner that reads “OUTFIELDER” above a casted image of the Baseball Hall of Fame. The left panel features a banner engraved with the players name “RUTH” above a casted image of two baseball bats and a ball on a baseball diamond. Below that is an additional engraved banner that reads “ELECTED 1936”. The inside of the ring is stamped “10K” along with the manufacturer’s logo. The ring is modeled after a non-gold salesman’s sample Babe Ruth Hall of Fame Induction ring in which the banner on the left shank read “ELECTED 1976”, the year the ring was made, not Ruth’s true induction year. The ring is in NRMT condition and makes an excellent display piece.
