1951 was the only season that these two NY Yankees legends played on the same team. This 16” x 20” black and white photo features Joltin’ Joe and The Commerce Comet in their road grey flannel uniforms during the 1951 season. Each Hall of Famer has signed the photo is bold, blue marker with each rating a near perfect 10. On the reverse is “AP WIDE WORLD PHOTOS” stamped in faded pink ink. The photo is NM and is accompanied by a LOA from JSA. Please note that a correction and/or update has been made to this lot and the printed catalog differs from what is online.
