This baseball comes to us from the collection of Rick Rhoden. It has been signed by 25 members of the 1948 NY Yankees including Joe DiMaggio (sweet spot, faded), Charlie Keller, Bobby Brown, Cliff Mapes, Billy Johnson, Bud Souchock, Frank Hiller, Bob Porterfield, Ed Lopat, Tommy Byrne (faded), Frank Crosetti, Charlie Keller, Tom Henrich, Phil Rizzuto (faded), Allie Reynolds, Spec Shea, Vic Raschi and Randy Gumpert. All signatures are done in blue or black ink rating an overall 6. There is what appears to be a cigarette burn on the ball. It is evenly toned throughout with several scuff marks. It is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
