Albert Pujols won the Triple Crown for the decade of the 2000’s, leading all players in home runs, batting average and RBI’s for an entire decade. This bat is photo matched to a Cardinals game on June 27, 2009 when Pujols hit his career home run number 346. Manuf: Marucci, Model: AP5-M Custom Cut, Length: 34-1/8 in, Weight: 32.5 oz, Wood: Maple, Condition: Cracked at the handle, has a cupped end. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the left and back barrel. Ball marks include ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Cleat marks are visible on the right and back barrel and there is a moderate coat of pine tar on the upper handle. The black mark on the handle identifies the face grain of the bat. This is a mandatory marking, per MLB for all maple bats since January, 2009. The date of manufacture (4/20/09) Pujols number (5) length (4) and weight (1.8) are stamped into the knob. Pujols has signed the front barrel in bold silver marker adding the inscription “MVP 05, 08” rating a 9. Overall: Excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA graded GU9 as well as a Photomatch of Pujols using the bat on June 27, 2009 when he his career HR # 346. Further accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature.
