This lot comes to us directly from the Dennis Johnson family. Omega 10k gold overlay watch weighs 39 grams and was issued to Donna Johnson by the Celtics after Boston defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1984 NBA Finals. The face of the watch features a shamrock in the center with “XV”, referencing Boston’s 15th NBA Championship. The face reads “1984 NBA WORLD CHAMPION BOSTON CELTICS” along with images of nine basketballs. The outside of the clasp is engraved with “DONNA JOHNSON” and “JUNE 12, 1984” the date that Game 7 was played at the Boston Garden. A raised image of the “Omega“ logo appears to the left of the engraving. The goldfilled charm weighs 8 grams and features a casted image of a hand holding a basketball attached to “Boston CELTICS”. The watch and charm are both in NM overall condition and come with a Johnson Family LOA.
