Wall made his NBA debut in a 112-83 loss to the Orlando Magic. He had 14 points, 9 assists, and 3 steals. In his third game, his first home game, he tied a franchise record with nine steals, and became only the second player in NBA history to get nine assists or more in each of his first three games. On November 10, Wall recorded his first career triple-double with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists to go along with 6 steals and only 1 turnover. In doing so, Wall became the second rookie, along with Magic Johnson, to record a triple-double with six steals in his first six games. Wall was the third youngest player to record a triple-double in NBA history. John Wall was named 2011 Rookie Game MVP during the 2011 All-Star Weekend. Wall was also named Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month from January-April and finished 2nd in Rookie of the Year voting behind unanimous selection Blake Griffin and was named to the NBA All-Rookie 1st Team. On the front tail is the "ADIDAS" manufacturer’s size 2XL tag. Attached is the “LENGTH +4" tag. Adjacent is the “NBA Every Player Every Game WWI00742” serial number tag. Across the front is "WIZARDS" in white on gold on black triple tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "2" in white mesh on gold on black tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "WALL" in white on gold tackle twill. On the left breast is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. Autographed on the back number in black marker and rates a 9. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
