Hall of Famer Alex English was the NBA's most prolific scorer during the 1980s and retired as the seventh-leading scorer with 25,613 points. After being underutilized by the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers during his first four years in the league, English became the most explosive member of a high-powered Denver Nuggets team that consistently ranked among the league's top-scoring clubs. The sleek, 6’ 7” forward became the first player ever to string together eight straight 2,000-point seasons. On the front left tail is the "Powers Mfg. Co." manufacturer’s size “46” tag. Below is the "2" L-B" tag. Across the front is "DENVER" in white on yellow tackle twill. Below on front and on back is the player number "2” in the same tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "ENGLISH" in white tackle twill on an oddly stitched blue nameplate. On the right shoulder strap is a green and black armband in support of the Atlanta incident. There are unreadable manufacturer’s tags in the shorts. In the back inside waistband is a tag with the player number “2” written in black marker. On each leg is the “Nuggets Miner” patch. The uniform shows good game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
