Hakeem Olajuwon is considered one of the greatest centers ever to play the game. He led the Rockets to back-to-back NBA championships in 1994 and 1995. In 1996, Olajuwon was a member of the Olympic gold-medal-winning United States national team, and was selected as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. He ended his career as the league's all-time leader in blocked shots. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2008. Inside the rear collar of the jacket is the “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with “We salute you, the participant, as you represent our country in Atlanta at the Centennial Olympic Games 1996 U.S. Olympic Team” along with “USA 1996 OLYMPIC TEAM”. Player number “15” appears written in black marker. Attached is a flag tag with size “2XL-T”. Both on the inner and outer collar is “Champion” embroidered in gold. On the left breast is “USA” with the five Olympic rings also embroidered in gold. On back is “USA 1996 OLYMPIC TEAM” along with the five Olympic gold rings sublimated onto the jacket. On the right breast in Olajuwon’s signature done in black marker rating an 8-9. On the inner waistband of the blue warm-up pants is the “Champion” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is a second tag with size “3XL-T”. On front is “Champion” and “USA” embroidered in gold. The jacket and pants show wear and appear to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from Olajuwon’s charity as well as a LOA from JSA.
